This first version of the privacy score checker runs in your browser and does not require an account. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, banking information, driver’s license numbers, or identity documents.
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. If analytics are added later, they should be configured in a privacy-conscious way.
How We Use Information
We use messages sent to us to respond to questions, improve the site, and fix errors.
We do not sell personal information submitted through contact emails.
Future Accounts and Premium Features
If account-based premium features are launched later, this policy will be updated before those features collect account data.

Premium Dashboard and Future Accounts
Future premium features may include user accounts, saved privacy scores, saved cleanup progress, reports, and reminders. The privacy policy will be updated before account-based premium features collect account data.
Check Privacy Score is designed to avoid collecting sensitive identity documents in the first version of the product.
Browser-Based Free Tools
The privacy cleanup planner, report builder, and site search are browser-based tools. Planner progress is stored locally in your browser when local storage is available.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, banking details, driver’s license numbers, identity documents, or other sensitive records into the free tools.
Subscription and Billing Data
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Check Privacy Score may store Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan names, subscription status, and billing-related timestamps so the app can unlock the correct account features.
Check Privacy Score does not store full payment card numbers on its own server.
Privacy-Safe Conversion Events
Check Privacy Score may store simple conversion events such as clicks to the score checker, pricing page, account registration, billing page, or recommended privacy tools. These events are used to understand which site paths are useful.
The conversion event system is designed not to store IP addresses, full browser fingerprints, Social Security numbers, identity documents, banking details, or sensitive personal records.
Personal Exposure Check
The Personal Exposure Check is designed to generate a browser-based risk estimate and manual search links from information the user chooses to enter. Users should not enter Social Security numbers, identity documents, banking information, driver’s license numbers, or other high-risk identity records.
The first version of this feature does not claim to automatically find every online listing. It is intended to help users understand possible exposure and organize cleanup steps.
